Meetings

PTSA meetings are the second Wednesday of each month, in the evening.  We are currently meeting virtually through Zoom.  The link is included in the monthly newsletter and goes out in an email to the PTSA google group.  Jefferson also posts our newsletter to the front page of the JHS website.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the conversations that happen at PTSA; voting on motions is restricted to current members but joining is easy!

Standard membership dues are $12.50.  $9.50 of that goes to the state and national PTA and $3.00 stays in our local organization.  We don’t want dues to get in the way of you joining.  We have offered scholarships in the past but we don’t get many requests for scholarships.

This year, we would like to try something new.  We will have a sliding scale option to membership so you can pay what works best for you.  On our link above, you will see two options.  One is standard membership, $12.50.  The sliding scale membership gives you two choices, $5.00 or custom.  In the custom choice, you can type in what you can pay, $1.00 and up.  This is also an opportunity for those that might want to give a little extra.

You may also pay for membership at:  Oregon PTA.  But there is a small additional fee.
